Depending on many factors, this will vary. In general, though, the closer you are to the middle of the building, the stronger the signal will be. Also, the signal tends to be stronger downstairs.
Is there an access fee?
No, the Aurora Public Library is providing this service free of charge to its patrons. Patrons must have their own equipment, wireless card and software, and agree with the Aurora Public Library District's WiFi Terms of Service (http://www.eapld.net/wifi).

Public wifi internet access is filtered. The filter cannot be removed.
Is the network secure?
Aurora Public Library's wifi is as secure as any open public access network. It's always a good idea to make sure you are on an SSL-encrypted web page prior to sending or receiving confidential data.
Can I print to the Library's printers?
Sorry, there are no printers connected to APLD_Public.
I can't connect, who can help me?
Unfortunately, library staff can only give generic instructions for connecting. Library staff is not permitted to handle any computer equipment that is not owned by the Aurora Public Library District.
